$2M Verdict Awarded in Unpaid Salary and Commissions Lawsuit
This is a settlement for the Employment lawsuit.
Los Angeles, CA: A jury award of $2,192,000.00 has been granted to a man who filed an employment lawsuit against NLP International Corporation, Bernhard Keppler. Plaintiff Kyle Silvestro worked at NLP as its Vice President of Business Development beginning October 26, 2009. During the course of his employment, Silvestro generated contracts with a minimum value of $3,321,300. As a result he received just $7,500 in commission during that time and was not paid his $6,000 salary during the previous five of the last six months of his employment. This, despite the fact that NLP repeatedly promised Silvestro that he would be paid everything to which he was due.
Silvestro' contract with NLP was for a $6,000 monthly salary as well as a fifteen percent (15%) commission on all contracts he secured. NLP' business was comprised of services it offered in connection with proprietary software licensed to it by Columbia University.
